Sales Bulletin of Major Products in Construction Machinery Industry in May 2025

The following is the sales bulletin for some major products in the construction machinery industry in May 2025 released by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association:

Excavators:

Total sales in May: 18,202 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.12%.

Domestic sales: 8,392 units, a year-on-year decrease of 1.48%.

Export sales: 9,810 units, a year-on-year increase of 5.42%.

Electric excavators sold in May: 36 units, including:

13 units under 6 tons,

2 units in the 10–18.5 ton class,

16 units in the 18.5–28.5 ton class,

5 units of 40 tons and above.

Loaders:

Total sales in May: 10,535 units, a year-on-year increase of 7.24%.

Domestic sales: 6,037 units, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%.

Export sales: 4,498 units, a year-on-year decrease of 3.31%.

Electric loaders sold in May: 2,765 units, including:

24 units under 3 tons,

83 units of 3 tons,

3 units of 4 tons,

1,756 units of 5 tons,

798 units of 6 tons,

95 units of 7 tons,

4 units of 8 tons,

1 unit above 8 tons,

1 skid steer loader.

January–May 2025 Cumulative Data:

Excavators:

Total sales: 101,716 units, a year-on-year increase of 17.4%.

Domestic sales: 57,501 units, a year-on-year increase of 25.7%.

Exports: 44,215 units, a year-on-year increase of 8.2%.

Loaders:

Total sales: 52,755 units, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%.

Domestic sales: 29,607 units, a year-on-year increase of 25.4%.

Exports: 23,148 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.39%.
